Chocolate Brownies

275g (9 3/4 oz) Butter (softened)
375g (13 1/4 oz) Granulated sugar
4 Large Eggs
85g (3 oz) Green & Blacks Cocoa Powder
100g (3 1/2 oz) Plain Flour
100g (3 1/2 oz) Chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions

1. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2. Add eggs and mix well.

3. Add flour, Cocoa Powder and half of the chocolate chips. Mix until combined.

4. Line or grease a rectangular baking tray (24 x 33cm)

5. Pour the mix into the baking tray using a spatula to even the mixture in the tray. Sprinkle over the remaining chocolate chips.

6. Bake in the oven at 140 C, 275 F, Gas mark 1 for 25 to 40 minutes depending how gooey you want them.

Don’t panic, they will sink a little, this is normal. It’s cooked when it’s browned slightly and starts to crack.

Leave in the tin for 5-10 minutes to cool then place on a wire rack to cool before slicing.
